Destinations > Amazonas >Camani Camp 3 nights/4 days

1st Day: Caracas-Puerto Ayacucho-Camani Camp.
Arrival in Puerto Ayacucho then continue the trip by a Cessna plane (182-206 or 207) to Camani Camp (45 minute long trip). Arrival at 11:00 am approximately.

Passengers’ assistance at the airport. Transfer to the camp. We will be greeted with a cocktail. We will be given information about the camp, as well as about the tourist’s services around the area. Rooms will be assigned. Then we will begin a 2-hour excursion to observe the surrounding fauna and flora. Afterwards we will navigate through Ventuari River up to Guayaje’s channel. We will go piranha fishing, and encounter many other kinds of fish (bass, etc.)

Lunch at the base camp. In the afternoon, we will travel by ground to take a walk along a jungle trail and visit “Cerro de la Churuata” which is located thirty-five minutes away from the base camp. From there, you will be able to see marvelous sceneries all around you, as well as a huge diversity of plants and Ventuari River (great place for resting). Return to base camp, outdoor activities and dinner. Overnight stay.

2nd Day: Camani Camp (Manaca and Marieta channel)
Breakfast. Leave at 09:00am in order to visit two native tribes. Navigation through Manaca channel. Walk for 2 hours then take a bath at Marieta channel. There we will see river dolphins and many other animals. Picnic lunch. Return to base camp at 4:00pm. Outdoor activities. Dinner. Overnight stay.

3rd Day: Camani Camp (Laja Pelada)
Breakfast. Star the trip at 09:00am. Navigation through Ventuari River all the way to a native community made up my several tribes in process of education. As many of the native communities, they have adopted western customs; however, they have kept their way of living, language and customs. Picnic Lunch. Walk to La Gran Roca along with our guides and native guides to see cacao plantations and others. Return at 5:00pm Outdoor activities. Dinner. Overnight stay.

4th Day Camani Camp-Puerto Ayacucho- Caracas.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Board a plane in Puerto Ayacucho to Caracas.
