This is an excursion with moderate swell and soft waves near the shore. They are not dangerous; however, they make up a fun challenge, along with a fabulous day at the beach.

The departure is from Higuerote, heading to Buche (approximately 100 Km - 62, 14 miles away). At the East of Caracas there is Puerto Frances, a place where we will take a kayak to go to Caracolito, a beach located approximately 5 Km (3, 11 miles) west. This trip should be about 1 hour and a half long, depending on weather and sea conditions. We will spend a calm beach day and then return to Puerto Frances (another hour and a half navigating). Take a car back to Caracas.

This sea trip has four intense moments: entering the sea from the beach and vice versa. A few meter away from the shore, with no risk besides capsizing near the shore, the rest of the trip occurs in a sea with sea waves between 0,5 and 1,5 meters (4, 92 feet) high. You will experience the immensity of the sea, the freedom feeling and the autonomy that can only be experienced from a kayak in the sea.
