This activity takes place along the central coast,
between Puerto Cruz and Puerto Maya. The excursion is designed for
all people without any experience on canoeing. They will enjoy an
exquisite experience in which they will be sometimes in company
of dolphins. The route has duration of about 1 ½ or 2 hours,
depending on the group and the sea conditions. It has two phases,
and Mayita is the intermediate point. This intermediate point allows
the monitoring of the activity’s progress from the road, and
therefore guarantees safety logistics for everyone, the enthusiastic
ones or those who prefer to cover only one of the phases. During
the whole excursion, you will have support from specialized guides
that will point out the route and will help the participants with
the lean and paddling techniques, according to the difficulty level.
SCHEDULE
- Transfer Caracas- Puerto Cruz through the coast
mountain range. After arriving at the beach, we will prepare our
gear for the trip. Passengers also have to prepare their personal
items as well as drink plenty of liquids.
- Lecture on Basic kayak techniques and safety tips,
which will be useful along the trip.
- Get familiarized with the kayak. Once done, we
will explore Puerto Cruz’s inlet. After that, we will go
to open seas led by our guide.
- Start of the first navigating stage: Puerto Cruz-
Mayita. Once there we will take a short break.
- Go through the sea until we reach our destination
(Puerto Maya), which is another inlet where there is a lot of
fishing activity.
- Lunch with non-alcoholic drinks.
- Free time to enjoy the sceneries and relax by
the beach; as well as swimming in the ocean.
- Ground transportation from Puerto Maya to Puerto
Cruz, where we will meet with those who decided to return by kayaks.
After this, we will head back to Caracas.
PARTICIPANTS
This trip requires a certain level of effort that may result exhausting
for those who are not in good physical conditions, however, it does
not require previous training or experience. Children must comply
with all the safety instructions. Their parents must authorize children
under 18.
EQUIPMENT
For our excursion, our company will provide you with 2 seat kayaks
(K2), paddles and life vests. It is obligatory to wear a life vest.

ALL YEAR ROUND - PRIOR RESERVATION. We recommend you to come in
winter (May-October)
